With a stray acquaintance, I call love

Lying perpetually
A way to keep up appearances
This joyous smile
So false it's spiteful
Cursing in silence this mirage
Which I meander as
One of many personas
Perfected, but far from perfect
Honesty is the bogeyman
Under which I should be caught
Could a simple slip of intention
From being alone
In a quiet dark place
With someone no one knew
Be all it took?
Being stranded through opportunity
With a stray acquaintance
Who knew only what she'd been taught
Of me? Not much to share
So easily could it happen
We'd share a lovers gaze
This tranquil privacy in us alone
She looks longingly, lovingly, lustfully
And I repay in kind
Feeling her fingers trace my cheek
I call love
Pulling back soft hair
To snap that supple neck
I'd gaze so tenderly
At that last gorgeous look,
She imprinted
On us both
If only
She could find me
Waiting on a stray acquaintance
Can't you hear me now?
Calling love
