The Moth and the Firefly
Two lost hearts,
floating through the night.
The moth, flapping aimlessly through the night.
The firefly, blending in with all its kind.
The moth, he's lost without direction.
The firefly, he wants to be unique.
The moth, chasing the stars, constantly out of reach.
The firefly, he strikes out on his own.
The moth, he seems destined to live in the dark.
The firefly, alone, cries out to be seen.
Below the moth, on the earth lighting strikes.
He chases it down,
the lost star in his life.
The firefly hears the flutter of wings
as to moth is drawn yo the light of his life.
The two meet halfway up the sky,
the firefly captivating the heart of the moth,
the moth, whose world is centered on the firefly,
never alone again.
They fly together,
inseperable,
a love written in the stars.
