there is no place for one like me
divinity in the flesh
pressed upon by the powers that be
relegated to the lowest in the hierarchy
they claim tyranny in another dimension
 
lulling me to sleep
blending in with humanity
then rudely awakened
to my humiliated station  
 
I am what I am
I know much worse from them
a sick experiment
twist the screws deeper
into space we go--  
holding nothing but a flashlight
 
search the heavens and the seas below
you will find nothing to wake the mortals
where true evidence is an infants theory
 
I talk to them gently  
the way only a mother does
some alert others stuck on their televised pacifier  
subliminal messages beamed into the skull
hush little baby don't say a word
aliens are here...shh don't tell
alien'nation anyone awake and paying attention?
 
making fun of you to your face amuses them
sleepwalking race of people
don't you know you didn't evolve from algae?
 
genetic engineering in a test tube
delusion...that's what I want you to believe
illusions protect me
yeah I'm on the radar
 
sending out telepathic pings
awaiting my warriors to respond with retaliation
