Caught inbetween

I'm caught inbetween whirlpools
Of dreams
There...
I'm juggling words,
you could have said.
Hesitation has worn you,
Torn you away from me.

I take never-ending escalator steps
Towards golden love saxophones.
I long to play them in my fantasies
But can't ever find them along my way
You have stolen some,
 but kept them anyways,
As you keep spinning round and round
On empty carosels a blind man runs,
Somewhere in my superstitions.

I try to pronounce your name
in the distance,
In the middle of the crowd,
But still didn't realize your glory
Never heard your whole story.

Thinking of the price I pay in life,
For physical manifestation
Running away from me,
Like lost children ran away too soon.

I try not to commit my heart to
Your drumbeat that's gone astray,
Far too many lost beats
To even make sense
of anymore, anyway.

Your unsteady hand on my drum.
 Not committing my heart to
Your dark shadow that lurks,
Can not forecast it correctly
It hides,
doesn't want to
come see my light.

I await for the tangled cobb webs
Of dimension
To Hold my empty sadness
