the air is fresh, the sky is blue
for a while you are not you
just a shadow, just a whiff
passing through outside as if

the universe embraced us all
while slipping through dark ego's wall
of always thinking, wondering when
to merge with always blissful zen

moments when we re-emerge
as cosmic beings in the surge
of consciousness that all is one
you and me, the Earth, the Sun

and all the beings underground
in the air, wherever found
on the planets, in the stars
in the caves of red red Mars

everything and everywhere
in the present which we share
passes through outside as if
just a shadow, just a whiff
