[ Psychology ] Honestly

my nine o'clock couch apointment  
is quite the attention starved  
drama queen;  

confiding in me that the local newspaper  
was covertly publishing gossip about her  
disguised as editorials, comic strips  
even personal ads in the classifieds---
she handed me cherry-picked quips  
clipped from the rag in scissored snips  
 
I said point blank  
You are making everything about you  
for the sake of coming here to complain  
and sympathy to gain  
 
To which she in disdain  
walked out of my office mid-session  
 
Lately, I seem to be losing my patients
