Skating Delirium

Those black cracks
again  
out the periphery    
vision blurs    
into stone thrown ripples across water    
shimmering desert mirage    
on a gleaming mirrored surface    
   
pacing    
agitated as if some caged beast    
wanting out    
sleep an elusive mistress    
coming for an hour when the sun's up    
when she comes    
just a restless dance    
deprivation    
   
Black nights  
rabbits skate the streets    
dancing squirrels tap dancing in and out of darkness    
pardon the intrusion    
is this subconscious speak    
did that just happen    
   
days swim into another week's distortion    
   
Reality?    
   
when time stands still    
it's a trick it does not exist    
   
All them realities    
nightmares    
dreams    
encased within a tear drop
