when the dawn breaks
my heart aches
as a fear sets in my bones
that all this has been a dream
and with the rising
of the sun
it might disappear
in the darkest hour of the night

But in the darkness the best poetry is found... so a dark patch every now and then is welcomed by the artist in me. :-)
