Not a Gold Guy ( My Wedding Ring )
My wedding ring should have been white gold
Instead if was more satin
Still shiny
Not too shiny though
Wore it for years and one day stopped
It got a little tight
Truth is I'm not a symbol guy
I'm wearing it again now, it's still tight
Wore my father's wedding ring for a year
Now back to mine
It feels better to just be me
Lost poet, emerging digital artist, Guinness again

Always best just being self. I've always felt symbols were for the benefit of others. I know when I'm committed. A piece of metal wont make that knowledge any more solid.
