Seduced, I Fold the Known
Seduced, I Fold the Known;
Showering the bleeding moments
To allow the Soul to dance
Delighted
Devoured
carefully caressed
to uphold the unfolding Unknown
To notice a moment of such a wonder,
sometimes passed in silence
where ghost-like bodies melt into skin;
footprints are evident to Existence,
shadow-filled heartbeats pound Times into Lifetimes
for a split Forever shared
It's dreamlike and lust filled
when worlds are weaved into a star-like parlor;
Breathing Heaven empty of Angels,
Licking words upon peeling skin ,
voicing the resonance of Sound,
[moans and sounding breaths]
unto the dripping Void
I'm Unfolding
between being alive and living;
To Fold the Known
and reach further still
Limitless

I like to use words as they paint themselves to me, and I entwine them, sometimes strand by strand, other times a pool of abstractness and illusion.
It's like peeling essence, creating the rising Phoenix out of dust. You can paint colorful lifetimes in shades of gray, spiritual awakenings in unholy corners.. Oh.. And there is an uncanny
beauty in Broken, sometimes.

When you wrote, in your note:

There is so much truth in those words! We are all connected, all a part of everything around us and all about us, and even beyond us. The past and present can indeed sometimes dissolve into a single path... but many today think far too linearly to comprehend this. It is good to push past our limits, to go deeper. That is how to rise ever higher, after all! We are most naked in our souls, because our spirits wear our true faces and forms which the flesh disguises.

This rings so very true to me! There is a profound difference between being alive and truly living... and sometimes one can feel caught someplace between the two. I have myself been feeling a bit like that on and off lately, so I can totally empathize. To fold what is known in order to reach beyond is a great thing, a power we all possess but that few can truly tap into with skill and determination. Yet if one is truly determined, there is nothing they cannot reach! All it takes is the act of transcending one's limitations to reach beyond. I have been teaching that to people lately on Higher DImensions on Facebook, so it is very good to see this echoed in your profound and beautiful verses! I truly adore your works, Skye... they never fail to touch my heart and reach deep into my soul. :)
