Babbling Brooke

Take me down to the babbling brooke where I can rest my mind. The mighty oak filters the sunlight. The only sounds are the water and the wind. They drown out the turmoil that suffocates my mind. Lie me down and just let it be. No need for talking. Just be beside me, your spirit next to mine. I don't know what I'm thinking. But you fill my void beautifully. Peace is what I need, among the complications of life. You are my strength, my answer and my muse. When life becomes dreary, dirty and hard you are there to pick me up, clean me off and inspire me to carry on.
