Neighborhood gangs beck and call

Neighborhood bars
Bolted on Windows
Leaving only enough room
For bats to escape
All the criminals in town want their own freedom
They want one night to prove to you
A wrongful chance
A showdown

You're a taking for their Rader's, club
All the criminals feed on your false moves
Shut down churches and vacant lots
They hover about the streets
A quick call to you
They are your big daddy and they adopted a gang crew
They want to run your neighborhood
With a shrug of guilt
To rob you no chance

One more remorse for you to learn
Train you to be at their beck and call
A prompt buddy
To drill you on later
They lure broken up families-it's a devil's empire
To call a deal of loss to you
They love to teach youngsters that every man's a player
Who owns a game if he can claim one

A showcase of players to sew a evil seed
Have you get into a gang to do a evil deed
Betrayal- a man disowning his wife to play the game
They say they know your kind, your brothers, your family
Who were a easy target to lure
To breakup to win you to their convincing favor

They say they lured you slowly to know
Your weaknesses and your pride
Street gangs batteling in the streets
Betting you on their devilish deeds
They will even stand in your lane playing
For you when you are not around
They got a bet for and against you,
you didn't even know
With their rundown cracker box homes,
Leaving you just enough room
To crawl out by your waist

You are the next contestant of their games if you are wondering astray
In your town hanging around the wrong folk
Them folk who grew up on the wrong side of town
The kind whose parents weren't around to school them
Or the kind that took advantage of gullible  kids
To use and abuse them in any which way
That taught them that life is hardship
Gangs want the disadvantaged

Seek them in the streets to find them
Have them prove their worth
To lure them into making a quick street buck
Using them to play against their enemy gangster
To be used as a victim player hater
