Not even an outline
to suggest
there was anything
in between
the form
of that ass
her confident swagger
and my good fortune
to have fallen behind
slowing my pace
to see those hips in action
that brief interlude
to annihilate
any concern
about anything
that necessary pause
to experience
the beauty
of the body
and the engagement
of my own.
