The kids are sleeping soundly.
Another day picking gum out of her braids after school. She's got her clothes ready for tomorrow and a little something extra.
Black eye number three this month and no justice,well at least not yet.
Broken hearted and torn in half with a dance of loss,but she's about to loose it all this weekend.
Another headline to be heard seen across the nation. Another political blame game without ownership.
Globalist,NRA,bully and the victim montra.
Only three are aware of it all.the kids sleeping soundly.

Made me pause to think.
Before we can expect kids not to bully one another, we adults need look in the mirror.
Whether it be Hate Radio or organizations like the NRA, bullying has become an accepted part of our culture.

I completely agree,I think our county is beginning to feel the same way other countries feel after going through one attack or mass killing after another.
It becomes apart of us and therefore a normal part of everyday life we just stare at blankly at this point.
