Read this just to find out what a 'postdicament' was (know about predicaments). Sounds like the praying mantis to me.

Yes, I'm looking at the entire project of human reproduction, but also emotional relationships, however short. Language itself is bent around this property...of everyone of us dying, and only the effects of our own lives persist.
Looking at that process, as an algorithm, then humans are programmed to reproduce, at a certain rate, above and below which breaks us down.
I see this as the a priori expression of consciousness. A dogwood tree knows it will produce 14,000 fruit seeds. Only 20 will grow into trees.
We want all of our "children," thoughts, to grow. The more effective we are, the more we overcrowd ourselves before we finally overload. Failure is necessary...because succeeding everytime...is suicide. Ironic.
