Good use of words to weave in a tale of Greek mythology. Hadn't realised Pandora was sister of Aphrodite (Venus) - she looks a rival to her in that pic and you have portrayed her as a mischievous sex kitten (far from the image I had of her at school when teacher first mentioned the story)! Favourite phrase:

paraded with breasts & hips in vulpine fashion   [translate that as 'foxy figure']

Well, as sister, I meant fellow Goddess. Some of the stories make it hard to guess her nature. She was indeed sweeter & more grounded to Gaia than just of pure evil. She was created for the demise by request of Zeus & most of the info ( which I studied hard) she was compared to Eve & sometimes  like Lilith. I went with where my words fit & by collection of data. Aphrodite is the one who instilled her sexuality by all accounts. Of course, at the end of it all, she was able to shut the lid & save some hope in time;)

This read like Ovid and had all of his mystery and magic. What you do with language here is magnificent! I felt the mystique of Pandora as I've often felt your own. Each line was a miracle of ancient poetics but told in the here and now by you in your finest form. As a reader of classical literature and former student of Latin, this is genuine and true to Homer and his companions in writing. In fact, this is my favorite of yours so far. You have gone further here than I ever dreamed of.

Oooh, I loved what this comp did for me. It was Willow's awesome word choices that made me confident enough to enter my first comp. I'd breifly read some mythology, so I felt Pandora with this one!
