When a Nuremburg drug deal in a parallel universe goes bad

Bludgeon your silver screen overdose
nightingale starry-eyed caged fear to death.

surplus red bleeding heartache sifted free bin,
torn cover computer software pamphlet from 1989.

grab what you wish in a frenzy,
or fry in the fire like a sunny side up egg.

vengeful arrows plucked from war speckled wings,
membrane, chest, and scales
spattered on the floor;
subterranean scorn of a lovers silence.

cold heartbeats fortifications fell long ago,
raging fire and wooden speared madmen of the mind  held back what they could.
