Think of it

Plans,
crash down at my feet
Days,
never fail to surprise me
Ways,
they teach me to let go of my enemies
I
Don't know why it's taken so long to see
I
Never wished for hopelessness surrounding all these
People who try to calm my waves
But my sea is too dastardly
I
Paint my world the only shade I see
Now I don't want to go
But here I am again parading art
In the name of existential means
I
Bury my heart to see
the tale unfold
right above me

Seems so desperate in hindsight,
Battling a dark mind
in the sunlight
Excuse me?
Are you telling me Heaven doesn't have a nightlife?

I
Ponder what questioning does to Life
when it all begins to fall apart
I
Think it's all in the mind
Why
Do we need to justify goodbyes.
I
Tend to find emotional gains
From peculiar views
Never
In material things.
But in the end I guess it's more for you to choose
