An Unsuspecting Day

My eyes they burn of morning
and my fingers they don't fly
set outside my body
as day begins to cry

moon she felt like water
washing me away;
sun she'll rip the corners
of an unsuspecting day

and how will I support her
will milk and honey do
a butler to the fortunes
that cast their lives for you

ring not, for the sleeping
awaken senses
when tomorrow is all thru
