Life Change

Today my life will change.
My life will change because two pink lines showed up on that test.
Confirming that I will be a new mommy coming next may.
This will be the fresh start I have been looking for.
I will raise this baby the way I feel I should have been raised.
I will protect him or her from the horrors I had to face.
I will let them be who they want to be and I will be proud.
I will be proud no matter what they do to be the one they call Mama.
If they become a doctor or a farmer I will stand up and say that's my Baby
That's the little bundle that I raised
Yes they will make me angry every now and then
Though I will never let my anger consume me
