Image for the poem contemplating you

contemplating you

tell me you hate me...tell me something...anything
you leaving me hanging by a wire with your silence
say I'm classless and have no taste but talk to me Daddy I need you

to this utter wasted existence you bring meaning
you add depth to a shallow lady
you shade in the lines...you flesh me out
mere bones become blood and tears

with you I have the full spectrum of emotions
charcoal grey feelings become vivid water colors
by the stroke of your finger tips

my body responds to your touch---
hips rise to greet your depths I take you deep inside me
my soul drinks you in...I take breath and am alive
you whisper to me the secrets of the universes
your eyes hold eternal truths...I awaken to deeper truths

in your quiet days I cry bitter tears---
your contemplation of things beyond my understanding
makes me feel like a little girl waiting on the approval of her father

you are the sun that sets in my skies
and the moon that rises on me lighting my nights
divinity in the flesh I'm so happy you're mine
