I practice the art of Kintsugi on broken, discarded things.  I keep gold paint to cover the cracks just for that purpose.  I have a huge 3-4' Angel someone threw away because she was knocked over and her wing was broken.  

This is a beautiful way to see others, Tallen. In this case of humans, love is the glue.

Your metaphor is wonderful:  her love binds your broken pieces into a new art form, in which the bandages come into view with amazing visible resonance.

Kind of reminds me of John Legend's:
