Intruder...A Love Story

My body is the epitome of a series of unfortunate events
My body is at the hand of the merciless
Seeing me as a beautiful flower, underestimating my thorns
No amount of tears and pain can make them give a fuck
Wanting to control my womanhood so bad, they have to take it
And becoming the same monsters that victimized them
Like father, like son
The thought of liberation can only soothe my deepest wounds temporarily
Causing an infection that spread throughout my body
Then to my mind
I am destroyed by the man I should call....my safe haven
Left to fight for myself, my womanhood and my sanity
Feeling bad for feeling hurt just because you said it's a crime
I'm not allowed to voice my opinion or my grievances because somehow...it turns you off
Tears make your penis soft
Feelings and sexual pleasure whether wanted or unwanted don't combine
Begging for basic human rights
It is only a joke to the hands that prey upon me
Using my body as a source of energy
Satisfying their beastly nature
Gluttony fills their empty souls because consuming part of me isn't enough
I am the feast for the greedy
And returned to sender to be repackaged again for the next consumer
Only to be partially taken in after added spices
Because I am a little too sweet
Too sweet for their lying tongues
Just silent tears and no voice to scream while being ripped apart
My body taken for granted
While my soul is suffering in silence
He laughs at my demise

But little do he know.........
 I smile in silence
After seeing past their disguise

I knew that day forward I had nothing to fear
Because I knew that my energy comes with a price
A price they will soon pay with their life
Every time I shed a tear
