The paradox of beauty and soul
Breathtaking in your plumages

Promises made promises broken

It's virtually impossible to critique something like this until the writer is detached from the emotion of it, which feels very palpable. I think when the majority of people make promises they mean it. Unfortunately, most don't anticipate situations and/or feelings changing with age and/or circumstance. The lesson is never promise more than the moment can provide.
