I've no complaint with your philosophy...I think folks are basically good...but, boy can we be snookered...
hoodwinked, misguided... and way too easily rooked.
By the way...those with genocidal tendencies usually wish to remove someone... other than themselves... from the equation...  
And I did say, "we".
Perhaps if we  had evolved differently, we would have been better able to learn from experience. Ely

I am guilty of this thought as well. We are basically a parasite to this planet, using up its natural resources, wreaking havoc on the environment, and driving other species to extinction. I don't think it's so much a matter of morality, but of rationality - the health of the planet would be better without us; I have no doubt about that.
