Always on the edge
The calm is never there
An enthusiastic masochist
Welcoming the pain
Like an addict scoring the next hit
The invisible noose
Choking life away
The feeling of freedom seeping
Certainty dissolving
Revitalised depression biting
Restless darkness descending
The kiss of a razor
A knowing sharp lover
Tasting naked skin
Hope is a conspiracy
Stabbing at the heart
Increasing pressure points
Emptied of fear
An emotional vacuum

you are not alone for things happen that makes you want to just give up I've been there before so i can relate to what your saying everyday is a struggle but the trick is you cant let it beat you down sometimes you got to dig deep beneath the surface of your thoughts and take some time to clear your mind of the darken thoughts and just exhale and inhale

Practice and experience produce consistent! I particularly enjoyed the form of this one, Asperger. Tercets are one of my favorites. The content was well conveyed in that it sparked emotion from the reader in way they could personally relate.

Wow, this speaks & it's beyond powerful. I don't think I've ever seen depression bottled up in words like this. I can't pick a favorite stanza, but the kiss of skin analogy struck me, not that it resonates. Beautifully constructed work!

Well its all going to be different yet it will come under the same umbrella . Just like autism for example me and sky are different yet we come under the same umbrella . I suppose its like a fingerprint we are unique
