You cuddle us and clean us
You make sure we look nice
You look after our diets
With the chicken, veg and rice
You’re very, very caring
When we don’t feel all that well
You take us to the vet and then even pay the bill
You buy us toys and presents
When it is our day of birth
And then you go and play with us
We run you to the ends of Earth
