Al's little yellow flower... a vision ...

It seems to me...that I can see
that flower had a plan
 
to lure you out into the street
as bait to bring a V8 van
 
which fetched that fortunate  
seed-laden flower ...up between two treads
 
transporting her to fairer fields
there her seeds to spread.
 
Sweet Al, that flower used you
to further her own ends...
 
she meant not to abuse you
and hopes you will forgive
 
her indiscretion...
surprising you that way
 
but time was of the essence
you know how Nature plays.
