Venomous tirade
Gushes from a bitter tongue
A heart full of hate
I pity such lonely souls
Wallowing in misery

Are they so unloved
That their hearts bleed and oozes
Poisonous vile
It must be lonely out there
With nobody to hold them

They must be living
An empty life so wanting
Of love pure and true
Not the love that comes from lust
That feeds their carnal desires

I'm thankful, lucky
I have more than enough love
To give and receive
I don't have to be bitter
Nor envy what others have

Peace and contentment
Don't come easy they take time
To happen in ones life
They only come when you have
Stripped yourself of vanity

Pride, ego, conceit
They just fuel arrogance
Breeds toxicity
No flowers can bloom and grow
In such hearts full of darkness
