Long Into The Night

Water trickles and steam rises
my heart's pounding,
beating, rhythmically
across my chest

I drag my fingers slowly
dreaming, day-dreaming
of you
and our nights together
�
so wet so steamy
�
come here and greet me
enter in my night
enter in my heart
and stay

stay a little longer this time
linger in my mind
til the end of time
our time
because ...

our time is short

lay back against this warmth
and let me bask inside your being
�
water trickles,
steam rises
my heart it skips
with and without a beat
long into the night

Hey, it gets waaay hotter in El Cajon
than it does here in Southern AZ

San Diego is a Mediterranean type of climate
so I guess that's why they plant them Palm Trees
there.
