A Grain Of Sand ( String of haiku/senryu)

I tried to keep you
Held you tightly in my fist
But you slipped away

Like small grains of sand
You found a crack, tiny gaps
Between my fingers

You dripped so slowly
Eager to go and be free
Until you are gone

You drifted away
In the changing tides of time
Back into the sea

You were just a grain
Of sand I held in my hand
Gone too soon from me

A passing season
That left a sad memory
A moment in time
