The Lady Blue 5
It was not too long afterwards, Joe Racine came onto the scene. He strolled into The Lady Blue that night with his saxaophone under one arm, a lighted cigarette dabbling from his lips. He had blond hair, his bangs all long and hanging down to the left side of his face. I was taken aback by his stunning blue eyes.
He asked if he could play along with the band that night and after the show we let him join the band. After all, he was the best damn sax player any of us had ever heard.
