The Lady Blue 4

I knew after that night that I was unquestionably and hopelessly in love with Gary. It never occurred to me to turn away from him. I grew up admiring him and had been constantly fantasizing about being with him. Finally, I was seeing my dreams come true.

Still I felt that being in love with a married man was not too smart. I remember hearing my father say when he was still alive, "if you're gonna play you've got to pay."I wasn't sure what he meant by that. I was only a kid. But I remember Pa saying that to Ma quite often when I was young. In the back of my mind, I was frightened that Gary would abandon me and go back to his wife.

I would have to say looking back  our affair started out very hot. Gary was not only my first lover but he was also a very passionate one. I loved making love with Gary. Actually, I loved everything about the man.

After about a year of seeing Gary, he abruptly broke up with me. I was so shocked because I thought things were going really well between us.
