HE BEGS FOR MORE.
HE BEGS FOR MORE.
A bomb exploded just beside.
A man lost one eye but could see
a boy was crying as his arm
had just a cut, but cried with fear.
The man went straight to help the child
and left himself with none to aid.
He cared for him while his eye bled,
but he ignored his blood and pain.
A girl saw him and was surprised.
"He has a little cut," she said.
"while you have lost your bleeding eye.
Why don't you try to save yourself?"
"In him, l see a little boy,
who relishes his start of life.
He loves its taste and begs for more.
His tears provoke my heart to cry."
