Beautifully Hers
She owed everything that she was
To the man who lay on the bed
He had walked and even ran to every corner of the world
To give her the desires of her heart
Beautifully created, age and sickness had caused them to part
The grief that she now felt
Each day she leaned on God
Tears were never very far
As they rolled down her pretty face
He had told her that he was hers and she was his
But the world had other ideas of a love so strong
In the end, he was beautifully hers.
