Into the arms of Odin

Odin came to me
In tongues I have never heard,but that I could clearly understand.
 He flayed open my life and cut out the truth of what I have never seen.
 My given life was in a disarray of grief and sorrows; as he walked along the pain of the fragmented pieces of my life embed along the paths of were I had fallen. To see the splintered branches of what was once the strength of my family tree.
 Now a covered trail of dead leaves lined with rotted roots and moss.
A forsaken and forgotten world that lies ahead.
Alone.
I became a shattered pillar made of marble stone.
A shield maiden who had become queen and lost her crown to the pantheon of war.
I was alone.
He scalped every piece of me with ease;
   laying down each organ that I had diseased.
He released the blindfold of a new reality.
To walk with death and to be embraced by Odin's love.
To walk amongst the shadows, no longer hidden behind my blinding truth.
To never be an empty vessels longing to be full of life's wants and needs.
No longer will I be alone.
I will now walk with death and choose to stay within the halls of what has always been far from my reach.
This time I am not strong enough to pull away.
I am tired of searching for my guardian angel to free me from this empty abyss.
My soul is no longer mine.
I am no longer alone;
as I fall into the arms and relinquish myself to my lord of wisdom and death.
