Love shattered

I don't know what to say or where to begin
I lived and died to think of how you've been
And I die within a lie to cry in sin
The ghosts of my fiendish fools came to haunt me again  
To preserve what was left of me and took me in.
 
I am sorry I couldn't feed the demon of your expectation
But I hope you hold a picture of me in your recollection
Because the image of you still dwells in my delusion  
I sacrificed to much to bask in the enchantment of your passion  
The illustration of your beatification of perfection did make us happy for some time
but I didnt fancy your designer sense of fashion
I found it fake and false, the molds to the make of your facades creation  
I paid attention to the changes in your mannerisms for they conveyed alarming signs of caution  
What corruption flipped the switch to the actions of your function
Was anything about you ever real?  
was it all just an elaborate illusion?
A love lost, forlorn and forgotten  
Was it divine intervention that cost me your love and affection in the confusion
 
To say the least and mention the few
The beloved ones that I knew
The friendly fools I left to be with you never thought you true
They do love to loathe and despise you  
But I truly do miss and love the little things that you did do
Even though you left me shattered, broken, black and blue,
without a clue to what it was you were really up to
 
The love that was forever and evermore is no more
I once hoped you'd find what it was you were looking for
But I can't ever be with you furthermore  
You turned into a fucking whore
