Words I Attempt To Keep Close

The better I be
it is my belief
letting these words
into subconscious creep

Keep them in mind
for the value they're worth
while traversing time
and my journey on Earth

Let my words go
in the fashion they flow
yet always be mindful
of thoughts they may sow

There's much to be said
of "stay true to yourself"
if I leave all unkindness
on misery's shelf
