Death

So very far but all around
Dark and gloomy
So many fear it
But I fear not
I find it fascinating
Many don’t want to face it
Nor do I
But it’s unknown
That’s why it’s fascinating
But yet feared
I wish to know more about it
But who knows what’s on the other side
I want to explore it
But a way to return has not been found
But I will see my own one day
Hopefully not soon
It’s heartbreaking for those whose loved ones have seen it
Millions and millions have seen it
Yet it’s as dark as night
And quiet like a mime
Until it strikes like lightning
Then takes your hand and leads you down a never ending path
