Mr. Right

Feeding her insecurities
With your roaming fingers and eyes
Constant subliminal shots to her psyche,
While she rests in your house of lies
“Please don’t string me along” she begs,
“If you are wondering what’s out there,
GO!!
Pack your bags, give me back my heart!
Damn it, be a man let me go and move on!!”

But you can’t walk away
From your most precious gift
Not until she submits to you
Not until you diminish her spirit!
You’ll  never replenishing the radiance
You sucked from between her thighs
A literal vampire
Arrogantly and selfishly
Diminishing her light
Taking her innocence
Destroying the left over pieces of her
naiveté’
Creating distrust in her heart
Ensuring bitterness stakes its claim

You go on your rants
Of how women aren’t worthy
of the love from a man
She isn’t worthy of your love?
The point you constantly make
You scream it at the top of your lungs
Just to watch her break
You know she loves you
And you know you don’t deserve her
But to let her go would destroy you
Feeding your
EGO
You’ve decided is her life’s purpose
Bending folding and kneeling
Giving you the best she’s got
Sadly it will never be enough for you…
Cause she will always be wrong.
And you…
You will always be Mr. Right
