You are here with me
A day will come
When I can no longer see you again
Even for a moment or for one last time
Today
You are laughing with me
A day will come
When I will miss your laughter
When only its echoes in my mind are all I can hear
When you are no longer here
Today
We sing a song together
A day will come
When I will look back on this day
And remember you
When only memories will be there
Today
I hold your hand in mine
A day will come
When you will let go of my hold
When life will do its will
To separate us
So today
I will make each moment count
I will tell you " I love you"
I will care for you
While I still have you
Today

Thank you AP. Me too that is why I go over the memories I posted there cos most of my earlier poems were posted directly in my timeline. I have not copied them in a notebook.
