I’ve got nothing to say
There isn’t anything you can do
I don’t want you
To make this feeling to go away
So keep your kisses

That venom you
vomited,
needs to soak through.
We both need to feel the sting
of the toxins you spewed
I am straining for air
There’s a tightening in my chest
Tears stain my cheeks
Constantly,
placing you before myself.
Even though this side of you is so
Conflicted, calloused and ornery
I know I will never get any
exoneration
As if you would ever
swallow

pride
for

It was all so surreal
The venom
burned my skin… slashed at my heart!
