My Knowledge,Her Wizdom
I came with the what...the where
The how..the when
She presented me with the why
The reason to my rhyme
And time after time she showed me
The woman she claimed to be
She remained to be
With her I feel no limitations
She didn't come off as an act
Giving me a 180 degree imitation of
something she wasn't
And I loved the fact that
She thought for herself
Taught herself to inspire
Through true companionship..
Never bothered with all that gamesmanship
Trying to tip those imaginary scales
Spurning those oft repeated tales
About how to handle the fragile ego of males
Instead she instinctively engaged my spirit
Listening closely to hear its nuances
Becoming distinctly in tune with my vibrations
And she in turn shared with me
Citations from her soul...
Her goal?...a sincere man/woman bonding
Responding to one another intrinsically...
Unreservedly
Reciprocity a constant
And deservedly so
Her sexuality never considered a
Weapon used to ensnare
Only to share a deeper connection
And with care she would
Manage her methods of seducing
Without reducing me to the stature of
The fractured wannabe's
That came before she and I
Conscious of the rote behavior
Of a habitual mind
Never objectivefying...or obsessing
Without the balanced oversight of her love
Sharing intimacy through her strength
And vulnerability..intimately
Inducing my imagination
And forever capture my sentiment
Feminine and genuine in her approach
Overstanding the nature of building with a man
Indemnifying intentions and affections
Identifying through my name
Without yielding her essential self
No self righteous stipulations
No clandestine manipulations
Never seeking leverage or capitulation
No...she would just simply......be......herself
From the very beginning
And that was all I needed to see
For her to become the why to my what
The why to my where
The why to my when ..the why to my how
She was my then as she is my now
And she will always be
The woman of my tomorrow
