Scars of Battle

The scars of battle lay not just of flesh, though within the ruins of Time.
For, down Its echoless passageways weep wounds, evermore, in Design.
Therein, will shine no Light from Above, for Eternity entwines, all told.
And into the Void, where Perdition awaits, the coming of heroes, less soul.

They, in disgrace, for of innocense slain...They, the destroyers of Worlds.
They, the cosairs of Trust and of Faith...They, to which darkness unfurls.
And, from black abyss their bones do arise, for to pierce the night mists
unseen. Where, upon they dance through the ashes of loss, forsaken by all
whom once dreamed.
