Image for the poem oblation

i saw you last night, more beautiful than ever
there was an opening, and I wanted to go inside
the softness of you thaws the stalagmites
of my passions, and wood chimes clonk from
your phonetics into my yearning anima

love casts and incants irrespective of
the immeasurable unimaginable
we travel through the seven wheels
tying cords, fastening fates, binding destinies
bookmarking our epoch in time
so many chords, striking cathedral pipes
serendipitous, fortuitous, reverence
a well leafed book, sifting through blithely
chasmal trenches of grace - an angel
in flesh, and blood and bone and heart
i remember you, from lives forgotten
eternal in our ebb and flow, we unite
giving way to the manoeuvres of inescapable
belonging, evoking our shared purpose
into and out of deathless orlay
if i gathered the history of poets
and collected every word written
by hearts as pure as Varanasian aesthetics
still it would be a leaf on your vast tree
under which i take shaded refuge, my love.
