self-experience of change
(like a serpent at my temple)
I had a strange experience
that caused an urgent will to write
about that days to make some sense
out of confusing nights
I saw myself reflecting me
and discovered something new
got curious at first to see:
a vein at my temple cued
for frightening dangers for my health
scaring me who faced his fears
two days to leave my former self
because a new one had appeared
---
like a serpent at my temple
a strange sign appeared to be
a foreboding to reassemble
underlying tendencies
like a symbol from my future
growing out of my farewells
releasing me into a new pure
spiritual heaven-and-hell
a stream of blood, a pulsing vein
experiencing my self again
within a somehow changed new skin
as one with doubts and
everything else
---
to face a life I don't know how to live
but I will survive through
the meaning that I give
to the life I wonder how to live
I find a life by discovering my trace
leading to an unknown fate
no time, no place,
don't hesitate
to inhale what you cannot embrace
and exhale to leave the presolved maze
