The Colour Purple.

keep me
off-line
lock my doors
don't allow me out
let my body calm
in it's psychotic
paralysis

switch off the phone
don't touch my skin

draw curtains to darkness

it's day five
of twenty one pills
and
there is no space
in my heart
for those
who will

use shame as
compassion

wear ribbons of purple
chant words
of motivation
help me remember
to take
the

twenty one pills
