Samsara

"Samsara's pleasures are deceptive
give no contentment only torment
so please bless me to strive sincerely
to gain this bliss of perfect freedom".

We are born to screams
and die in fear
and each moment here
is filled with pain

Always seeking
never finding
joy is fleeting
soon is parted

Life is pain
existence is suffering
the happiness we seek
is nowhere to be found

Not in this place at least
Not in this swamp of misery
Where babies die
and evil men thrive

The food we eat
turns to vomit
the sex we crave
never satisfies
the shelter we find
can not last:

Birth,
suffering,
ageing,
sickness,
being parted from,
Being denied,
never finding
.

Truth hurts

But it will also set us free.

Merry-go-round
Wheel
Cycle

Heaven to Hell
humans and ghost
animals and angels

Merry-go-round
Wheel
Cycle

Sick of suffering yet?

One more taste
One more and I'm done
Sea water
Never satisfies
Cannot gratify

Find the root,
the Able One says,
"It is your self"
We made this mess
Minds
Create
Reality

Control your mind
Find the root
Find the self
Uproot it

Merry-go-round
Wheel
Cycle

Are you sick of suffering yet?

Get me off this fucking carousal!

Buddha, standing outside of the wheel,
points to the moon,
"I can show you the way
But YOU must walk it".
