Oasis🌴
A fertile patch of green is what it seems,
Embraced in an oasis lush with verse.
From where I can emerge refreshed by dreams;
Reflective waters of my mind immersed.
So soothing as I’m cooled beneath the palms,
A fertile patch of green is what it seems.
A blessing as the words appear like alms,
Receiving graciously, they flow and team.
A gentle breath from off the desert streams,
To clear my thoughts preparing to compose.
A fertile patch of green is what it seems,
The quiet joyousness set forth in prose.
And now the moment of the pen is here,
In either free form verse or rhyming scheme.
I focus and the lines start to appear,
