Please Wait . . . Two Words Different Directions

thoughts struggle to move
I'm tangled, twisted and tied
with only tingles left inside

lightning goes off in the distance
I look up and sense all her might

swirls of white;
wisps across an ocean
there's no darkness to be seen
in a sky that's made of grey

I picture sunshine kissing
the dimple off your rosey cheek
as you gallop towards the sea

the view from here's magnificent
it's pure, it's beauty and it's free

I'm not alone
the world is also watching
desperately longing for you

a widow of peace
but a giver of life

hear these whispers
sung gently in the rain

please wait . . .

right there for me
